⭐ Objetivo

Provide the English steps to confirm that the Lara app is actually installed and working on a given Microsoft Teams team.

⏰ Cuándo aplica esta guía

Right after installation, before announcing the launch. And whenever a group of people reports they never hear from Lara.

⚙️ Paso a paso

Note for the team: this article currently sits in the launch communication folder. It belongs in the Microsoft Teams folder, next to the installation guides. Move it.

If your frequent communication channel is Microsoft Teams, Lara must be installed within your company's workspace. To delve deeper into this integration, explore our Microsoft Teams Integration Guide.

To confirm that Lara is installed on a team within Microsoft Teams, you should:

Step 1

Go to the Team section

Step 2: Select the team on which you want to validate that Lara is installed, and click on the three dots.

Step 3: Select the Manage Team option

Step 4: Go to the Apps tab

Step 5: Confirm that Lara appears in the list of apps. If it does not appear, it means that it is not installed for the team you looked for.

Once installed, you'll be able to communicate with all the employees comprising that team directly within Teams.

✅ Buenas prácticas

Verify at least one team per region or business unit, not just the pilot team.

Do this check before announcing the launch, not after the first complaint.

Record which teams were verified and when.

⚠️ Errores frecuentes

Verifying only the team of the person who ran the installation.

Assuming that if the app appears in the catalogue it is installed on every team.

Announcing the launch before verifying.

❓ Preguntas frecuentes

Lara appears but does not write. What should I check? Teams policies first, then the domain and IP allowlist, then whether the person exists in the employee database.

Is there a Spanish version? The Spanish equivalent was merged into the main Microsoft Teams integration article.
